... finding things faster you (maybe) search for!

All this points should help you finding the things you search for more quickly - and maybe you find some things you never know that they are on openCards ;-) Please let us know what you think about this improvement in our forum area.
Next time we will talk about the "new" forum area on openCards which should be launched before the end of this year!
With the growing number of articles on openCards we attach great importance to the question how you can find the information you (maybe) looking for.
The following improvements should help you with this point:
- We have added search functions to the following ST1E and ST2E content types in the last weeks: Interviews, Decks, Card-Reviews, Strategy-Notes, Tournaments, Tournament-Reports, Dream Cards, House Rules and Fun Stuff. All of them are searchable by author and / or publisher of an article. Most of them have specific search criteria like the main affiliation of a deck or the card type of a Card-Review card. One highlight here: when you search for completed tournaments the result set will also show you references to related decks, tournament-reports and / or pictures!
- To navigate between the different areas on openCards more quickly we have added a new navigation menu on the right site called "Game shortcuts". Each area could be found there by its special icon. Maybe you have finished the search for the next tournament you are planning to participate and now you like to take a look on the latest decks on openCards? Simply click on the Deck icon and jump directly from the Tournaments to the Deck area!

- When you read an article like a Deck or a Card-Review you maybe interested in other articles from the same user. Because of this you will find now another new navigation menu on the right site called "More Content…". When you study e.g. a Deck from FutureGuy you can see there what other content have been published by FutureGuy!

You will find a list of all content types from FutureGuy there and you can navigate directly to the different content types. This function includes links to Interviews, Decks, Card-Reviews, Strategy-Notes, Tournaments, Tournament-Reports, Dream Cards, House Rules and Fun Stuff (if any published by that particular user). - Some new arrangements: ST1E and ST2E Tournament Reports have their own area on openCards now. You will find them now in the Play area right beside the Tournaments. Further more we have given the card search functions their own place under Build (ST2E only, ST1E will follow). The search functions for ST2E cards on openCards are the most powerful you can find in the Web (latest new power function: find the missions your Away Team could solve!) Therefore you should find the ST2E Card Search more quickly (which is also part of the navigation menu from point 2). Last but not least we have moved some content types between Inside and Play like Interviews, Rules and Locations for ST1E and ST2E - just look and see...
- And the last but one of the most powerful points: more Profile enhancements. As you know, you can click on the name of an openCards user anywhere on openCards to see his or her public profile. This profile also lists all content published by this user now! So you can see all activities of this user directly in his or her profile (and you can surely navigate to the individual articles from there).
All this points should help you finding the things you search for more quickly - and maybe you find some things you never know that they are on openCards ;-) Please let us know what you think about this improvement in our forum area.
