Angry Mob does to SECURITY something similar to what Unscientific Method does to SCIENCE: filters one out to make it less likely that you can pass the next dilemma. Though far from foolproof (STRENGTH > 50 is fairly easy for many affiliations to muster), when combined with another filter dilemma for a different personnel type, it can be very effective.
Combos:
- Angry Mob + Security Precautions: 3 SECURITY can be hard enough to scrape up; after Angry Mob, it may be impossible.
- Hippocratic Oath + Angry Mob + Barclay's Protomorphosis Disease: Your chances at those 10 points are slim.
- The Gatherers + Angry Mob: Get rid of those phasers and disruptors and the STRENGTH option is a little more remote.
