Between fighting battles, curing plagues, and subjugating planets, the people of the 23rd and 24th centuries occasionally take a break for some scholarly research. Students of anthropology and archaeology can think of no better place to study than planet Gateway, home of the mysterious Guardian of Forever.
While not the most common skill, Anthropology is seen on an increasing number of personnel of all affiliations, and this mission, open to all comers, is quite an incentive to include that skill in your deck. Add some Archaeology and either Honor or Treachery for 40 points, or up to 55 with appropriate mission specialists.
As a side benefit, you can download The Guardian of Forever when you seed the mission, opening another time travel avenue for both players.
Combos:
Historical Research + The Guardian of Forever + The Guardian of Forever: Once your Anthropology and Archaeology personnel solve the mission, let them time travel into the past and then return for some bonus card draws.
