    Multidimensional Transport Device

    Modifies transporter function to allow beaming to an alternate universe. Developed in the mirror universe. Used by Smiley, Professor Sisko, The Intendant, and others to cross over.

    Equipment Equipment

    Reports in Alpha or Mirror Quadrant. Twice each turn, where present, allows transporters to beam to opposite quadrant (anywhere at corresponding location), ignoring all SHIELDS.

    Characteristics: Beaming.
    Requires: Alpha Quadrant Mission, Mirror Quadrant Mission.

    This card has an erratum:

    Errata 2015-10-07: For reasons of game balance, its effect has been limited to twice each turn, and to the corresponding location only (rather than the entire region). Furthermore, the card now includes the "converted card" icon. This errata/reprint is now also a conversion, of the Second Edition (2E) Multidimensional Transporter Device -- a card with the same image (Editor's Note: eh, close enough), a confusingly similar name, and an effect which is almost useless in First Edition.
