    Kazon Bomb

    Tierna's "rescue" by the Voyager crew was part of an elaborate ruse. The Kazon was on a suicide mission, carrying a chemical injection that would convert his blood into a powerful explosive.

    Dilemma Dilemma - Dual dilemma Dual
    Unless 3 SECURITY and CUNNING > 35 OR 2 SECURITY and any tricorder OR 3 Borg Defense Borg present, kills all personnel present who have printed STRENGTH < 7. Discard dilemma.

    Characteristics: killer dilemma.
    Requires: Tricorder, Affiliation Borg affiliation, Borg species.

    One of the basic things you learn when dealing with the Kazon is not to trust them. Unfortunately, Kathryn Janewayimage (in one of her many altruistic moments) decided to help Tiernaimage, only to learn later that he was part of a ruse, led by Culluhimage, to kill many of her crew.

    Unlike the Denevan Neural Parasitesimage, hand weapons won't prevent any deaths when the bomb explodes. The Ferengi, Vidiian, Non-Aligned, Federation, Bajoran, and Borg affiliations have many personnel with printed STRENGTH less than 7 - so they'll be the ones most affected by this sinister dilemma. Even an affiliation with strong personnel like the Dominion can fall victim to a Kazon Bomb. When you kill off your opponent's weak Vorta, they'll have no one to ration the Ketracel-Whiteimage, leading their Jem'Hadar to kill each other when they're white-deprived.

    If you can get rid of your opponent's SECURITY before the Kazon Bomb goes off (and that's easier than ever with a Trabe Grenadeimage) than you stand a great chance of killing a lot of personnel. For kicks, you can even send their dead to The Next Emanationimage so a Regenerateimage won't aid in "reviving" their people from the discard pile.

    Combos:

    • Common Thiefimage + Kazon Bomb: Get rid of that Tricorderimage and then have the bomb go off.
    • Kelvan Show of Forceimage + Trabe Grenade + Angry Mobimage + Kazon Bomb: Get rid of your opponent's SECURITY before you get rid of everyone else.
    • A Fast Ship Would Be Niceimage + Kazon Bomb + Alas, Poor Queenimage: Besides the Queen, a Borg opponent had better have three other Borg Defense personnel (one a Guard Drone) or else...
    • Kazon Bomb + opponent's Ferengi: We've got your fried Ferengi... your smoked Ferengi... your blanched Ferengi... your baked Ferengi... your diced Ferengi... am I missing any?
