Senator Cretak scoffed when Kira Nerys attempted to blockade a Romulan base on a Bajoran moon using small, outdated Bajoran ships. If she'd had a few of these warships to work with, Kira
wouldn't have needed Admiral Ross
's help to stand down the warbirds. Sure, the Bajorans have to go to a parallel universe to find a capital ship. But so what? This monstrosity isn't constrained by regional boundaries, and can even hold its own against the I.K.C. Negh'var or Regency 1
with a few enhancements.
The downside to the Bajoran Warship is the presence of an
icon among its staffing requirements. The Bajoran affiliation isn't exactly overflowing with
personnel, and Gantt
's third skill takes him out of support personnel status. Of course, there are plenty of non-aligned
personnel who might be willing to lend their icon to staffing the warship, and at least one of them (Kathleen Tonnel) is a mission specialist.
Combos:
- Bajoran Warship + Bajoran Civil War
: Download a matching commander (Rinnak Pire
) and
personnel (Gantt) to jumpstart your warship. Add other personnel-downloading mechanisms like Assign Mission Specialists
, Assign Support Personnel
, and Defend Homeworld
for an even quicker start and a more robust crew, and don't forget to discard Make It So
to download and protect Captain's Log
once Rinnak hits the warship. Why, you could have the Refuse Immigration
requirements by your second turn! - Bajoran Warship + The Mask of Korgano
: Yes, I'm serious. Bajoran affiliation purists need not taint their deck with non-aligned personnel, thanks to the Mask. Never mind that it prevents your opponent from downloading Masaka Transformations
with their Obelisk.
