The good doctor from DS9 joins the rest of the 
icon team, and while at first glance, it may seem to be a watered-down version of the Julian Bashir
we all know and love, you'll be pleasantly surprised at what you get here.
First off, you get that icon. (Which is covered well in other card extras, so I'll spare you the details - you do read all the card extras, don't you? :) ) His CUNNING takes a bit of a dive, but it's still strong at 9. And he loses a MEDICAL - or does he?
The download of Classic Medical Tricorder
will let Lt. Bashir get his third MEDICAL back, to pass REM Fatigue Hallucinations
. Or a second Biology, if you need to get past that Aphasia Device
. Or a second Exobiology, for Garak Has Some Issues
. Quite the dilemma buster, wouldn't you say?
Combo:
- Lt. Bashir + Dr. McCoy
+ Classic Medical Tricorder: These two plow through the infamous Hippocratic Oath
/ Aphasia Device / Tarellian Plague Ship
combo like it wasn't even there. Let McCoy nullify the Oath, either of the two can solve the Aphasia. (You may want to bring a different MEDICAL to feed the Plague Ship, though.)
