Who's the Fed who won't cop out when there's Armus about?
(Grant!)
Who's the man who'd risk his life to save his brother man?
(Grant!)
Darn straight.
Grant's an uncomplicated personnel. Your icon personnel are few and far between, and you don't want them getting taken out by some stray bullet (or phaser blast, or sentient puddle of goo, or what-have-you.)
Enter The Man.
Grant will happily throw himself in the way of any random selection that would threaten the more.. shall we say.. recognizable faces in your away team. On top of that special skill, you also get SECURITY classification, which is handy considering the relative lack of it in the Original Series (they didn't even have a Security Chief, for pity's sake! :). Grant is a nice, universal source of the skill to keep Berserk Changelings and the like at bay. Honor, is also handy for various things. (Although, just between you and me, I think it's there solely to explain why the guy willingly beams down with Kirk and Co.)
So, when Grant's not off saving your crew, what else is he good for? SECURITY and Honor will help you with a few dilemmas, but in a pinch, you can always send him down as a redshirt to -
(You can't say that!)
But I'm talking about Grant!
(Then we can dig it.)
ahem
Anyway, you can send Grant down to clear out any pesky dilemmas before you send down the important dignitaries. After all, that's what he's there for, right?
Combos:
- Crew Reassignment + Lt. Grant: For heavy decks, you're going to want to make sure you have Grant handy. Reporting directly to the ship doesn't get any handier.
- Lt. Grant + Lt. Grant: With Grant protecting your crew, people may think to start targeting him with cards like Vendetta. But since he has an icon, Grant can jump in front of another copy of himself, preventing any pesky point losses.
